Every time I put effort into bettering our lives there seem to be unforeseen challenges,
The word “try” is a word that implies failure. Never try you ether do or you don’t. Not that failure is such a bad thing in the right light. Failure is now knowing not to continue wasting time on something that doesn’t work, and learning about things that do.
Smacked down indicates allowing oppression to be a part of one’s life. The challenge is something that is solvable although sometimes not desirable defiantly fixable.
Every time when I see the light at the end of the tunnel there is another challenge.
The words “every time” are a couple of awesome words that describe certainty, an awesome pair words that are extremely effective with the right words preceding them.
The word “hope” on the other hand is an empty word that shows uncertainty. The only replacement for hope is when.
Screwed over can happen by dwelling on things in the past, expect and know that you know things are happening to allow better things to happen. Faith is an odd thing sometimes, blindly knowing that what you believe to be true and viable will happen in the future is a concept that is overwhelming for some. Truly laugh in the face of adversity and know that your challenges will be overcome. Know that the bigger the challenge the more spectacular the outcome.
Dwelling on the past is nonproductive and destructive to your future, the knowledge gained from failures always gives an edge to utilize time better. Project forward into the future and see what you need, want, or desire. Plan a path to get there knowing your path may change as you are working towards it. Have faith and expect the outcome to be desirable and timely. Often times the end result will not be exactly what you had envisioned, often it will be much better. Forgive the past and don’t allow whatever it is to have power over you, if you live in the past you can’t advance to the future.
Emotions are kind of cool, everyone has them but not everyone knows how to deal with them. When something undesirable happens we may feel bad, mad, sad, guilt, frustration, or revenge, none of these are very useful in our lives except to recognize it is time to make another decision. These emotions are a trigger telling us it is time for a release. Go scream, yell, write, work out do what you need to do to run the negative garbage out of your system, get rid of it. Then make the decision to ether overcome the challenge or leave it and move on.
As we push through our everyday lives there is no right or wrong. There are just consequences. What consequences will transpire on your current path? Utilize everything you come in contact with, there is something useful in all that happens. I reference Thomas Edison because he was such was an amazing man. While he was best known for inventing the light bulb through literally performing thousands of failed tests he also had hundreds of other projects he was working on simultaneously. Edison knew how to focus on the now and move on learning from each not so desirable outcome he produced. He knew that there was gold in every failure and moved on to a new idea each time with the knowledge he gained from the previous. Even though most of us are not subjecting ourselves to tasks of that degree we can learn from how he accomplished his success. Edison took his vision of the future, his goals, and worked towards then in his now with total control of his thoughts.
What I am saying is what you think and what you say directly affect the outcome of your goals. The most challenging thing about success is to think like the successful. Most great accomplishments are made because of stepping outside ones comfort zone with an open and positive mind, thoughts are energy we must learn to use them wisely.

Very well said. You are a very intelligent man with the right attitude. Thanks for sharing. Sometimes it is to easy to get upset and frustrated. If by focusing on what you said can be done, and I will try, I’m sure I can get a lot more done. Thanks for your insight Brad! You give me hope my friend…;-}
Well put Brad. Our thoughts and even more so our spoken thoughts define our reality.

I appreciate your Time and Energy in listening.
Funny how there is really nothing new…
Just a different way of presenting the FACTS,
that have been present of 1,000′s of years.
There are still a tremendous amount of people that have no clue the power of thought. Take for instance a prayer chain, they work I believe because of the amount of energy being directed at a specific action. Could you just imagine the things that could be accomplished if people really understood the power in thought and and actually focused for prolonged periods of time on and issue instead of slapping their hands together and focusing for a short time.
Wow the POWER! and things that could be accomplished.
We’ve all heard the Napolean Hill quote “What the mind of man can conceive and believe, It can achieve”. Conception and belief are step one. Effort must come next. This quote comes to mind “If It’s Going to Be, It’s up to Me”.
Your post covered both points and more. I know we can talk ourselves right out of success or reach the stars. The difference? Our thoughts, drive and determination. It’s important to distance ourselves from negative people. I enjoyed the post.
@Chuck I’m watching the video now. Thanks for sharing it.
