The Secrets Left out of the Secret and Law of Attraction
When the story of Rhonda Byrne hit the mainstream people went crazy there were a few things that were never mentioned. Not sure how many people know that there was a Secret 1 that had Ester & Jerry Hicks involved with it. The Secret 2 had a delayed release there is only speculation there was something came between Rhonda Byrne and Ester Hicks. I have read conflicting stories for sometime now that there was possibly a conflict to who owned the rights to the law of attraction and Abraham being the first to teach the law.
The Secret was supposed to be simultaneously broadcast on 2-12-2005 worldwide for free, and for some reason the free part got canceled two weeks before the airing. Then about 3 months later it got released on the internet without Ester Hicks, hence volume 2. Actually volume 1 was banned to be sold in New Zealand, Australia, and New Guinea until the second version was released. From what I hear in the wind the money end of the productions were far from the truth. The money never really came until after the release of the product itself. Kind of a smoke and mirrors deal that went on, they pulled it off though. The absurd thought that any one of these people owned the rights to and were the first to discover the law of attraction as a secret is crazy. What about Napoleon Hill, Zig Zigler, Edison lived it even Jesus Christ had a handle on positive thought way back when. The secret was just a re boxed product for lack of another word.
All this aside the basic message comes down to reprogramming your subconscious mind to produce enough positive energy to change paths and succeed. The intention to empower all others to live a life a full and joyful life was a fantastic gesture to mankind. After all the hype calmed down a little there were a few questions raised and rightly so. There seemed to be a few key elements were left out or overlooked, I think that many people take things at face value and don’t expand their minds as to see the big picture. I am just trying to open the eyes of you readers to the fact to look beyond, question things, use your brain and think bigger than what you learn.
It is a little sad that some people seemed to be just totally left in the dark because they didn’t take action. Action or work should have been stressed a bit more. I have read so many things that people have written about their disappointments. Things just weren’t happening for them they were thinking all the right stuff but the transformation just wasn’t happening. I could understand their reasoning and frustration, I did respond to some of them in comments making an effort to explain that thinking in the right direction was a great start. But action must be part of their formula, be happy with where you are right now and stop putting time limits on things that they have no control over put the expectations on their personal actions and just believe that that what is has already happened but they just haven’t seen it yet.
I am writing about this again because I feel it is so important to stress the fact over and over that it takes massive action to make your vision a reality. Your vision and belief in yourself and direction you are headed are just the core and driving force to achieving your reality. Imagine this if everyone that was involved with The Secret project had expanded their vision to really help people succeed. The book and movie were only teasers, if the vision had been bigger possibly involving training and mentoring by developing neuro linguistic programming courses when the whole Secret movement was main stream they probably would have set the standard for the society by pushing the fact that not only believing in where you were headed could only be accomplished with massive action and focus as part of the plan for success.
